The Word of God is central to all we do at Gowensville – this is best demonstrated from the pulpit. Our preaching aims to confront hearts, instruct minds and call sinners to repentance and faith in Christ, which can only be done by the Spirit through the faithful exposition of God’s Word. Therefore, our pastors strive each Sunday to take the passage, explain what it means in its original context, and then apply it to our lives today.

When we gather, we sing songs that are meant for you to sing as you join with other believers in proclaiming truth set to melody. We gather to raise up worshipers who understand who God is and why he is worthy of our praise. We choose to sing songs rich with theological truths because we want to equip you with portable theology that carries you through the joys and sorrows of the rest of your week. 

Discipleship doesn't end on Sunday after the worship gathering. From our children's ministry through our adult courses, every aspect of our discipleship is intended to enable you to become more like Christ. Discipleship opportunities can be found on Sunday morning during the Sunday School hour, and on Sunday and Wednesday evenings.
